Cole’s Peace Artisan Bakery opened in December 1997 and has quicky become a Key West tradition. Locals and visitors alike have fallen in love with the crusty loaves of hand-crafted breads—each one a culmination of careful, patient steps. Untreated flours, whole grains and live leavening cultures are mixed, shaped and allowed to slowly rise before finishing in our hearthstone oven. Their aroma, flavor and character represent the old-world craft of baking bread with attention and care.

Recently, our breads inspired us to craft a selection of memorable sandwiches, soups and other tasty goods. Each item we produce is made from scratch using only the finest ingredients. Our breakfast and lunch offerings are worthy of the artisan tradition that began with our breads. We have quicky become one of Key West’s favorite spots for a snack, a meal or carry out.

You can find Cole’s Peace at 1111 Eaton Street, the corner of Eaton and White, at the entrance to Old Town Key West. We bake our bread fresh Monday through Saturday and are open from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. We bake enough bread to sell that day; so come early for the best selection. After hours, our baked goods are available next door in The Restaurant Store from 2:00 until 6:00 or until they sell out. You can also try our breads at some of the finest restaurants in Key West.
