Key Lime Pie Face-Off
I got invited to participate in a Travel Channels Food Wars taping. The show was in town to film a Key Lime Pie face off between Blue Heaven and The Blond Giraffe. They needed a talking head who knew something about Key West and Key Lime Pie. I was more than happy to oblige. When asked who makes the best Key Lime Pie on the island I said that a gentleman Key Wester would say that it was the one currently being consumed. When pressed further I said that the best Key Lime Pie on the island is made by my wife Cathy. I am not a foolish man.
